The Fleet-Capital Strategy · learned from the RaaS graveyard

Equity funds the team. Debt funds the robots.

The comparables are brutal: Diligent Robotics burned ~$100M to reach ~100 hospital robots and sold for $25.7M; Serve ran a negative gross margin at 2,000 robots; Rapid Robotics abandoned RaaS entirely. The winners split the capital: Chef Robotics paired $20.6M equity with a $22.5M SVB equipment facility; Formic stacked $100M+ of dedicated debt.
